Jack was born in Newport, Rhode Island; spent the first two years of his life in Florida; and grew up in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. He debated his way through High School, and won the Jack Lemmon Acting Scholarship to Harvard University, graduating from there in 1973.

This is a picture of Jack's Grandfather's dog Queenie who gave birth to a lot of puppies.
The dog and puppies belonged to Pepere LeBlanc.
Some of the pups were kept and others I believe were sold or given away to other hunters. When anyone visited the dogs were always a main attraction.

Pepere LeBlanc [Terry's Father and Jack's Grandfather]
Pepere was a fisherman and a hunter and he used beagles quite often in the hunt.
They especially were very helpful when Pepere was going out for Rabbits but were not used to hunt deer.
The Beagles names were, Beauty, Queenie, and Blackey and were loved by all of us, but expecially his grandchildren.
There were times when it was too dark to hunt and hunters were not allowed to stay in the woods after dark. If the hunter dog had not returned because it was on a run... Pepere would leave his shirt there so that the dog would find Pepere's "scent", and when Jack's grandad returned the next day, the dogs were always there, laying on the shirt and waiting.

Memere [Edith Boudreau] LeBlanc [Terry's Mother and Jack's Grandmother]
This picture was taken near her home on Beech Street in Fitchburg.
Memere made wonderful meals with venison and rabbit meat.
Things like stews and cacciatori red sauces for spaghetti.
She was a great cook and loved to rock and sing to Jack and our 5 small babies.
I think we broke her heart a bit when we took Jack, her first grandchild away to Jacksonville Florida to join his Navy dad for 2 years.
